PHOTOS: National Pro-Life Chalk Day Spring 2014

National Pro-Life Chalk Day this spring was a success.  More and more people are getting involved, chalking their sidewalks in their communities and college campuses and therefore more and more people are reading the messages and stopping to discuss the pro-life topic.  We are so excited to see more and more people not only get involved in this day, but also to continue sidewalk chalking as a tool in their arsenal of pro-life witness tools.

We are contemplating moving the Spring Chalk Day to a March date.  There seems to be too much snow on the ground, especially this year, therefore limiting the number of potential participants.  We would like your thoughts on that.

The Fall date is Thursday, October 2, 2014.  Make sure to join the event page on facebook and invite all your friends on facebook to participate.  Also, make sure to “like” the Chalk Day page as well as inviting all of your facebook friends to like it as well.  Thanks!

Favorite National Pro-Life Chalk Day Photos

These are my favorite photos that I’ve seen so far from last week’s National Pro-Life Chalk Day.  Check them out!

Great job everyone!  The next Chalking Day is February 2, 2012.  See you then!

TOMORROW: National Pro-Life Chalk Day!

Tomorrow we, Rock for Life alongside Students for Life are co-sponsoring  National Pro-Life Chalk Day!

On February 3rd we held the first ever national event and it was a huge success! I personally chalked at the University of Mary Washington and oh boy did I cause quit the controversy!

The more we talk about abortion and what the act does to a baby and his / her mother the more hearts and minds are changed to the pro-life position and the more babies lives that are spared.  One way to get people talking is to sidewalk chalk pro-life messages.

So tomorrow, grab some sidewalk chalk, grab some friends and start chalking public sidewalks.  It’s fun and a little rebellious!  Sidewalk chalking is inexpensive, fun and another creative way to get the pro-life message out.

So, whatever it is you are doing tomorrow take some time to join thousand of pro-lifers nationwide who will be participating in National Pro-Life Chalk Day.  Visit the website at for messaging ideas and tips, tell all your friends by forwarding this email and posting the website on your facebook and twitter. Then take pictures and post them on your Facebook and Twitter as well and let us know how it goes!

Chalking last night

I got started a little early.  National Pro-Life Chalk Day is today but with all the excitement I couldn’t help myself so I met up with the Students for Life group at Mary Washington University and we did some chalking.  Below are some photos of my work.

While one of the students was chalking “Abortion Hurts Women” a group of guys walked by and mocked her.  A couple of minutes later a young man came back, apologized for his friends behavior and let her know he was with her.  So not only is this a great way to educate, but also to identify who is pro-life on your campus and recruit them!
