Planned Parenthood said she could birth child at 22-weeks and let die

A good friend of mine (and President of Students for Life of America) Kristan Hawkins tells a gruesome story in her latest commentary of how a Planned Parenthood nurse told her how she could abort her son.

She was 22-weeks pregnant, and although obviously wasn’t seeking an abortion, wanted to see what Planned Parenthood would say.  The nurse said she could get the abortion.  What kind of abortion? By giving birth and letting that baby die.  Unbelievable.  And its caught on tape.

This is illegal, but Planned Parenthood and late-term abortionists are getting away with it.  Gosnell almost got away with it, although the jury is still deliberating, and others are getting away with it right now.

All human beings should be given the right to life, whether a baby who survived an abortion attempt, a late-term abortion or an early abortion. Right now babies are being birthed simply to be left to die at abortion facilities.  Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton may have ignited a slippery slope in our country that we are seeing unfold right before our eyes.  Let’s hope and pray that it ends here.  If we cannot prosecute the perpetrators who execute children already born, then who is next?

National Pro-Life Youth Podcast Episode 005: Fatherhood Begins in the Womb

On the latest episode the National Pro-Life Youth Podcast we have two interviews for you!  First I interview Ryan Bomberger, Co-Founder of The Radiance Foundation. Ryan recently unleashed a TooManyAborted campaign called, Fatherhood Begins in the Womb.  Listen as Ryan describes the project and how you can get involved.  Ryan has a compelling story.

On the second half, Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America interviews Julia Pritchett, a junior at the University of Arkansas, President of the pro-life group on her campus, and former Students for Life Summer Missionary. Julia gives us a great look into how the 9-week, cyclical summer Missionary internship works, what it was like working for SFLA, another national pro-life group and inside a Congressional office, and how she’s able to apply what she learned from her internship on her campus!

National Pro-Life Youth Podcast Announced

NEWS RELEASE – Media contact, Erik Whittington erik@rockforlife.org

Washington, DC (March 29, 2011) – Students for Life of America and Rock For Life have announced today a new, collaborative project – The National Pro-Life Youth Podcast.

“We are so excited to provide yet another tool for the Pro-Life Generation,” says Kristan Hawkins, executive director of Students for Life of America. “These podcasts are a great way for young people to get educated, equipped and stay in-tune with what’s going on and what other groups are doing to advance the cause for LIFE.”

We want young people to be excited to be pro-life and engage their campuses and communities to fight the greatest injustice our nation has ever seen – abortion,” says Erik Whittington, executive director of Rock For Life. “This podcast is going to be fun, showcase new and upcoming pro-life bands, musicians and songs and young people who are savings lives today!”

Kristan Hawkins, and Erik Whittington, both bring years of podcast recording experience to this new adventure. Kristan has been the host of “On Campus with Students for Life.” Her program focused on interviewing pro-life leaders on college campuses nationwide. Erik has been hosting the “Rock For Life Netcast” which has featured pro-life songs and interviews by various artists such as BarlowGirl, SONICFLOOd, Rebecca St. James and many others. Both programs were hosted by “National Pro-Life Radio.”

The show’s first guest is the “Tell Congress” Video Contest Winner who, for the very first time on YouTube shared her testimony of family abuse that was covered up by Planned Parenthood: three of her siblings were aborted and after years of abuse, her father was finally put behind bars.

The National Pro-Life Youth Podcast is a weekly show that can be found online at

Northern Virginia is Pro-life Rally tomorrow

Tomorrow I will be speaking (along with many others) at the Northern Virginia is Pro-Life Rally.  If you are near Fairfax tomorrow why don’t you come out and be apart of this awesome event!

Besides yours truely you will get to hear Elizabeth Farah (Worldnetdaily.com), Kristan Hawkins (Students for Life of America) Peter Shinn, (Pro-Life Unity) and many others.  Also, musical entertainment will be provided by Emily & Anna Weisband and Maddy Curtis.  Emily & Anna have provided music at numerous Rock For Life events.  Many of you may have already heard Emily & Anna play at one of the numerous coffee shops in the area! You can hear their music by clicking here.

Also, Maddy Curtis hails from the Northern Virginia area, she was a contestant on American Idol and comes from a family of twelve whose mother is an award winning blogger!  We interviewed her earlier in the year on our podcast. Click here to listen.

Northern Virginia is perceived by many as non-friendly to the cause of human rights and justice for preborn children.  With a large number of pro-life groups located in the Northern Virginia area this is bound to change.  Polls tell us that more and more people, young and old are self-identifying themselves as pro-life.  With the elections coming up this is a perfect time for pro-life people to use the ballot box to speak out for the preborn.  Then, after the elections, no matter who holds public office our work continues by holding them accountable.  Let’s not forget our most important work, to personally be pro-life by continueing to educate those around us, get involved in pro-life projects, speak out, raise awareness and raise funds for important pro-life efforts.

Here’s the lowdown:

October 23, 2010 2-4pm
Government Center Ellipse
Fairfax, Virginia

Hope to see you there!
