National Pro-Life Youth Podcast Announced

NEWS RELEASE – Media contact, Erik Whittington

Washington, DC (March 29, 2011) – Students for Life of America and Rock For Life have announced today a new, collaborative project – The National Pro-Life Youth Podcast.

“We are so excited to provide yet another tool for the Pro-Life Generation,” says Kristan Hawkins, executive director of Students for Life of America. “These podcasts are a great way for young people to get educated, equipped and stay in-tune with what’s going on and what other groups are doing to advance the cause for LIFE.”

We want young people to be excited to be pro-life and engage their campuses and communities to fight the greatest injustice our nation has ever seen – abortion,” says Erik Whittington, executive director of Rock For Life. “This podcast is going to be fun, showcase new and upcoming pro-life bands, musicians and songs and young people who are savings lives today!”

Kristan Hawkins, and Erik Whittington, both bring years of podcast recording experience to this new adventure. Kristan has been the host of “On Campus with Students for Life.” Her program focused on interviewing pro-life leaders on college campuses nationwide. Erik has been hosting the “Rock For Life Netcast” which has featured pro-life songs and interviews by various artists such as BarlowGirl, SONICFLOOd, Rebecca St. James and many others. Both programs were hosted by “National Pro-Life Radio.”

The show’s first guest is the “Tell Congress” Video Contest Winner who, for the very first time on YouTube shared her testimony of family abuse that was covered up by Planned Parenthood: three of her siblings were aborted and after years of abuse, her father was finally put behind bars.

The National Pro-Life Youth Podcast is a weekly show that can be found online at and on National Pro-Life Radio. Here you can download the shows and subscribe to the RSS feed through iTunes.

What is she scared of?

Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards sent out an email after the elections that said the following:

“Yesterday was a difficult day…There’s no getting around it: the results of yesterday’s election are truly alarming.”

She also added that “extremists” will “pursue a dangerous agenda.”  Really?  Isn’t it her organization that is extreme?  Planned Parenthood believes in abortion on demand, everywhere, every stage of life (in-utero) up until the moment of birth, paid for by US Taxpayers, abortion as birth control, accepting donations from racists, covering up child sex abuse, lying to women and lying about basic human embryology.  THAT is extreme.

Dangerous agenda? Seriously? What can be more dangerous to a small, defenseless human being than an abortion?  Who can be more dangerous to that person than an abortionist?

So what exactly is she scared of?  What does she suspect that the 2011-2012 US Congress will do to harm her abortion agenda?

Northern Virginia is Pro-life Rally tomorrow

Tomorrow I will be speaking (along with many others) at the Northern Virginia is Pro-Life Rally.  If you are near Fairfax tomorrow why don’t you come out and be apart of this awesome event!

Besides yours truely you will get to hear Elizabeth Farah (, Kristan Hawkins (Students for Life of America) Peter Shinn, (Pro-Life Unity) and many others.  Also, musical entertainment will be provided by Emily & Anna Weisband and Maddy Curtis.  Emily & Anna have provided music at numerous Rock For Life events.  Many of you may have already heard Emily & Anna play at one of the numerous coffee shops in the area! You can hear their music by clicking here.

Also, Maddy Curtis hails from the Northern Virginia area, she was a contestant on American Idol and comes from a family of twelve whose mother is an award winning blogger!  We interviewed her earlier in the year on our podcast. Click here to listen.

Northern Virginia is perceived by many as non-friendly to the cause of human rights and justice for preborn children.  With a large number of pro-life groups located in the Northern Virginia area this is bound to change.  Polls tell us that more and more people, young and old are self-identifying themselves as pro-life.  With the elections coming up this is a perfect time for pro-life people to use the ballot box to speak out for the preborn.  Then, after the elections, no matter who holds public office our work continues by holding them accountable.  Let’s not forget our most important work, to personally be pro-life by continueing to educate those around us, get involved in pro-life projects, speak out, raise awareness and raise funds for important pro-life efforts.

Here’s the lowdown:

Be Quiet!

OK I’m being funny but seriously, today is Pro-Life Day of Student Solidarity where thousands of young people will be wearing red”LIFE”  tape over their months to raise awareness about the horrors of abortion.  Many lives have been saved and hearts and minds have been converted to the truth because of this event.

So why don’t you head over to for more info, put your “LIFE” tape on and be silent for one day to speak out for the over 3,500 babies in America who will be silenced forever – one-fourth of your generation.

Father pulls gun on pregnant girlfriend

I wrote on Tuesday that the violence of abortion isn’t just inside an abortion factility when an abortionist pulled a gun on peaceful, praying pro-lifers as part of a 40 Days for Life vigil.

Well, late last night I became aware that again a gun was pulled. This time one was pulled on a pregnant mother.  Who pulled the gun? The boyfriend.  Why? To try to force her to abort their child.

According to the Associated Press and The Columbus Dispatch mom and dad dropped their five-year old son off at school then soon after the boyfriend pulled a gun on his pregnant girlfriend (who was in the driver’s seat).  She was refusing to go to a scheduled abortion that morning.  He was attempting to force her to abort.

Once they arrived at the abortion facility she was able to pass a note to a worker who then called the police.  When they arrived they found him in possession of the fire arm.

The man is being held in jail charged with kidnapping and carry a concealed weapon.

Again, the violence and thought process of abortion is not contained inside of an abortion facility.  It spills out on its front steps and into the streets of our communities.  In this case in overcame a desperate boyfriend who not only wanted his own child aborted but kidnapped his girlfriend to try and force this on her.

Let’s pray that justice is served and this young man has a heart and mind transformation.

Abortionist points gun at peaceful praying pro-lifers

The Women’s Medical Center is one of hundreds of abortion facilities across America that are targets of a 40 Days for Life, which is a forty day prayer and fasting vigil to end abortion.

“Dr.” Gary Boyle, the abortionist at this facility decided he couldn’t take the prayers and vigils at his abortion facility any longer so he decided to draw a gun on the folks, according to Classy. Now he is charged with a felony.

The violence of abortion is all around us, inside the clinic and sometimes even right outside the doors.  The violence perpetrated by those who claim to be pro-choice has been documented on  Plus, I personally have been a victim of it numerous times.

What is the response of 40 Days for Life? To continue praying and fasting for an end to abortion.  That is our response as well.  Is that yours?
