“We had never had three babies saved in one day!”

More amazing news from the 40 Days for Life campaign!  One vigil in particular reported three babies lives saved from abortion in one day!  Sometimes it is difficult for even one life to be saved, let alone two – but three?!?!  FANTASTIC!

This is what happens when we pray, fast, have a constant vigil out in front of abortion facilities and are persistent and patient in our efforts.

An abortion facility just closed!

The 40 Days for Life team just announced this morning that an abortion facility just closed!  YES!  It’s called The Bours Health Center and it is, or was located in Eugene, Oregon!

The local 40 Days for Life team has been praying for its patience, its faculty and for its closure for about 4 years.  And finally, through patience, prayer, constant vigil, a constant presence their persistence has paid off!

Now, fewer babies will be aborted, fewer mothers will experience the trauma associated with abortion and fewer family members will be mourning the loss.

40 Days for Life Kickoff 2013! WHOO!

Wednesday, February 13th 2013, marked the beginning of the 2013 40 Days for life Campaign. In case you haven’t heard of this tremendous event, I will give you a quick run down.  40 Days for Life began in 2004, in one town in Texas. It was a simple concept founded on a mission of compassion: Using the biblical number of 40, pro-lifers would gather for 40 days to pray outside of abortion clinics for lives to be saved and changed.

That was then. Now, 40 Days for Life is not only country-wide, but it is global! With a total of 261 locations, 40 Days for Life has massively expanded which is a visible example of the love pro-lifers have not only for babies but for their mothers as well.

Abby Johnson is currently a popular pro-life speaker and writer. But she wasn’t always a passionate pro-lifer. Johnson at one point was the Planned Parenthood Employee of the year. But after 5 years of witnessing the 40 Days Vigil outside the clinic she worked at, Johnson had a change of heart and crossed over to the other side, the side with hope and love.

I remember the last Planned Parenthood conference that I went to before I quit,” Johnson said.  “We were actually talking about the 40 Days for Life. Planned Parenthood was saying that their no-show rates go up as high as 75% when people are simply standing and praying outside of abortion clinics.

Johnson’s story is just one of many stories of the lives changed through this peaceful demonstration. 40 Days for Life has been responsible for the conversions of other abortion clinic workers and the closing of abortion clinics. It has also given hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers another effective way to reach out to lives that need saving from the tragedy of abortion.

Please, get involved. Lives are at stake and you can be the one standing in the gap for women and children in crisis. For the nearest 40 Days for Life location near you, check out

Tomorrow, January 22, marks the 40th anniversary of the tragic Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that imposed abortion on America and resulted in the death of more than 55 million children … and the wounding of millions of women — and men.

In the midst of this crisis, there is HOPE:

Starting from one hour of prayer, the groundbreaking 40 Days for Life movement has rapidly spread across America and around the globe, empowering more than half a million volunteers in hundreds of cities to pray and fast, stand in peaceful vigil, and engage in effective community outreach.

As a result, 6,749 babies have been saved from abortion. Thousands of women and men have been spared from lives of regret. 75 abortion workers have had conversions and left their jobs. 26 abortion centers have closed down for good.

And every baby, every mother and father, every worker, every closure is an AMAZING STORY.

“Abortion became a number, a goal,” says former Planned Parenthood clinic manager

Many in the pro-life movement have known for years that the abortion advocates’ mantra of “safe, legal and rare” abortion is a ruse.  Obviously it’s not safe for anyone involved nor is it rare.  Planned Parenthood will tell you that they are out to prevent abortion by preventing pregnancy and that abortion services are only “3 percent” of their total services.  Yeah right.

Well, one of their former clinic managers has come out and shed some light on this issue.  In this interview Sue Thayer, who was fired three years ago and has led a prayer campaign outside her former clinic, comes out and shares what it is like to manage a Planned Parenthood abortion facility.

It became increasing clear over the years (12 total) that Planned Parenthood wasn’t about preventing or reducing pregnancy.  “Abortion became a number, a goal,” Sue said, “managers are accountable for that goal.”  So, if Planned Parenthood is so about preventing or reducing abortions why are abortion goals set?  And why are managers held accountable for those goals?  Shouldn’t the number of pregnancies avoided be the goal?  NO!  Because abortion is their goal!

Sue goes on to say that as part of her training she was forced to observe a full day of surgical abortions.  Because Sue was personally opposed to abortion this gave her more drive during the following twelve years to prevent pregnancies and abortions.

Eventually the ruse became clearer and clearer.  Her Planned Parenthood facility did not provide surgical abortions, but eventually they introduced telemed abortions – abortions where a doctor from a different facility would determine if a mother was less than 63 days pregnant.  If so, the doctor would assist in administering the abortion drug RU-486 through webcam.  The idea was to introduce this form of abortion to her facility and eventually make it available to every single “family planning clinic” in the nation.  Therefore greatly increasing the abortion rate.

Once the telemed abortions were introduced at her facility she vocally opposed it – “we are not about abortion, we are about family planning – we prevent abortion.”  She was shortly thereafter “laid off.”  An ad for the vacant job soon appeared in the local paper.

So as you can see Planned Parenthood is about abortion.  Abortion is a highly profitable business for them.   In order to stay in business they need to sell their product – abortion.

Another interesting admission she made is that Planned Parenthood really does not like 40 Days for Life.  So out of curiosity she signed up for their email list.  When she was fired from Planned Parenthood she eventually went to 40 Days for Life and led the fall 2011 prayer campaign in front of her former clinic!  Prayer works folks!

We need to shut down Planned Parenthood.  One of the ways is to share what Planned Parenthood is really about .  Please listen to the interview and share this article on all your social network avenues.  Thank you.
