British singer, actress Lily Allen advocates abortion on twitter account

It’s disheartening when I hear popular musicians and artists come out advocating abortion.  People in the spotlight have influence over others, especially their young fans.  Unfortunately that is the case with Lily Allen.

Britain’s Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt backed calls to change the legal abortion limit from 24 weeks to 12.  That seemed to upset Lily, who is currently PREGNANT as she went on a twitter rampage, calling the Secretary and anyone who support limiting abortion, “small minded idiot blokes…” and “women haters.  Now those are intelligent arguments for abortion now aren’t they!??!  So a woman who is against abortion hates herself?  REALLY?!?!

Here is a sampling of her twitter conversation she had with the world.  Within I’ll make some commentary for fun and educational purposes.  Enjoy!

“Enough now… The day the number of single father households equal the number of single mother households is the day I start to listen to their views.”

So abortion is great until dads quit leaving their children and wives/girlfriends, then it might not be so great?  If nothing is wrong with abortion then this shouldn’t matter.

“It’s really hard to work and have a baby at the same time, because a baby can’t stay at home on its own all day while you go to work.”

No kidding! I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to leave your baby home alone while you go to work, I could be wrong here.

“Sometimes there are lovely dads who take their responsibilities very seriously and work very hard to look after their babies. These men should be applauded. But, sometimes, quite often, when the babys (sic) cry a lot the man gets frustrated and leaves the baby and the lady that had the baby. He sticks his fingers in his ears and pretends that the baby isn’t really there, he stops answering his phone when the lady calls. The lady gets very sad and feels very alone and angry and even though she loves her baby more than anything… She wonders what her life might have been like if she had never had the baby in the first place.”

Yes this is horrible!  The man should be at home taking care of his wife/girlfriend and child.  If he leaves isn’t their some kind of compensation you can legally get from him?  Is this really a good enough reason to abort your own child?

“So to all the Pro Lifers spamming me with s**t… This is one of the many reasons I believe a woman should have a right to choose.”

Well, that’s not how Twitter works.  You only get spammed with direct messages.  The only people who can direct message you are people you are following. So, if you don’t want to get spammed don’t follow people who you disagree with – which is kinda childish in my opinion but that’s your choice.

So far you’ve only given one reason why you believe it is ok to abort your child.  It’s a very bad reason.  No one should ever have the choice to end the life of an innocent defenseless human being.

I’ve added Lily Allen to our list of “bands who advocate abortion.” Check here for more bands / artists / musicians who support abortion.  Comment below if you know any others who should be on the list.  Thank you.

Wait, she says some dads “pretend the baby isn’t there”. Isn’t that what people who support abortion do? Lily? Hello?

    • I agree!

    • NICE!

  2. Francine Leo says:

Ms Allen: how would you like it if your mother aborted you? She loved you so much that she sacrificed everything for you. You dont need to try to fit in by sopporting abortion. It’s murder and therfore, a sin. Please look into your heart and think about what you are saying. I’ll pray for you and everyone who thinks that abortion should be legal. When a women becomes pregnant, God creates the heart first, then, everything is created after that. How awesome is that!!!!!
