Michael Jackson Pro-Life?

Was Michael Jackson pro-life?

The 25th anniversary re-release of “Bad” has an unreleased song of his from the 1980’s called, “Song Groove (A/K/A Abortion Papers)” which suggests maybe he was!

Here is the chorus:

Those abortion papers,
Signed in your name against the word of God,
Those abortion papers,
Think about life, I’d like to have my child

I can’t seem to make out any of the other lyrics so if any of you can interpret what he is saying please comment below!

Here is the song

  1. KMJ says:

I have already written about it on Rock For Life Polska. I think it’s well-written and well-made song with a message, I like the style, too. I’ve watched the musical Hair yesterday, it shows the chaos in the style of this musical mixed with MJ’s style, of course (maybe because it’s the 70’s and 80’s). Jackson was controversial, but come one, you don’t have to be an angel to be prolife. The lyrics are on the net, just search.

  2. I suppose people felt it was too much to mention so they never put it on an album? Sad that they didn’t considering how many people pretty much worshiped him and lived by his music. It seems like it is about people who talk about God and read the verses but when it comes to something major they pretty much give up and think about themselves instead? I know he was a Jehovah’s Witness, so they are against abortion, so this does make sense why he would sing against it. I think he said at one point, “Think about love for the unborn child” in the song. It is hard to hear all the lyrics with the beat being so much louder than his vocals.
