Italian abortion minded mothers offered cash to keep baby

A northern Italian province is offering cash to abortion minded mothers to keep their baby.  The mother must claim poverty as a reason for wanting to abort their child.  The mothers would receive about $308 a month for 18 months.

Of course the abortion advocates are screaming that this is “propoganda,” it will only fund about 1,000 – 1,200 mothers who keep their babies and this is just a short-term fix to a long-term problem.

According to CNN:  Roberto Formigone, the region’s president said, “We want to help the family, maternity, and birth rate, removing the obstacles as much as possible, beginning with those of an economic nature that make it more difficult to choose in favor of life,”

What do you think of this?

A common argument I hear from abortion advocates is this, “What are you doing to help born people?” and “What are you willing to do to help women who can’t afford to have babies?”  Well, here in the U.S. and around the world is a huge network of pregnancy help centers who assist financially and even spiritually young mothers who are in a needful pregnancy situation.  These centers are non-profit, mostly funded by donations.  These centers do not have products or services to sell to make a profit, as opposed to Planned Parenthood and other abortion facilities who make a generous profit by selling abortions.

So here we have a province in Northern Italy whose president is making an effort to make a difference, to offer financial assistance to pregnant poor mothers and in return saving a human persons life who was at risk of being aborted.  And still the abortion advocates scream bloody murder.  Jeez you just can’t please these people can you?
